Sale items!

It's amazing how we, mommies so easily captivated and drawn to the magic word : SALE. May it be a household appliance, grocery items, commodities, luxury goods or even airline tickets ... we always justify our impulsive buying because of the logic : "great deal , and got it on sale!" LOL.
I am one guilty SALE-mania customer. Whenever I receive notice of sale items be it through emails, newspapers, magazines, text messages or letter inserts, I immediately feel the excitement and check out items on sale. This holds true with the Amazon coupons and Wal-mart coupon codes I saw online. The excited shopper in me initial instinct is to check the discounts and rebates available and decide what to shop online. This way, it gives me mental picture of my savings thus giving me options to buy more from my cash rebate. Just recently, I purchased Avent sterilizer from Amazon.Com. With these coupon codes, I was able to buy not only the bottle sterilizer at a great price, plus I was able to add few Avent bottles for the baby from the rebate. Great way to save, huh?! Try it. In this time of recession, coupon codes and discounts serves our shopping savior especially for thrift shoppers like me.

be home soon ...

yes, the husband will be home soon. He decided to cut his business trip short and instead of arriving this coming Wednesday, he'll be home two days earlier. Wonderful, since I miss him so much. Thanks to the Ramadan or Eid al Fitr at Malaysia, he was forced to squeeze all his meetings within two days due to holiday of obligation, Islamic religious observance : fasting.
Thus with this good news, he will be home by tomorrow afternoon. Very timely since will get to spend time with him as it is a holiday here in Manila. Together with the bratinella, will pick him up from the airport and proceed to Serendra for dinner. Really pleased he'll be here by tomorrow since I need to consult him about the roadside assistance package offered by our insurance company. I checked online and found good deal motorhome towing packages which is convenient and practical for car-owners like me. The auto club membership looks promising and I want to share this with the husband for reconsideration. Hopefully he'll agree me on this one.

The Dream Bag ...

... finally, dream no more!

It took me years before I've decided to take the big step ... that is, to reward myself with a C bag. I used to think that I don't deserve to own this. Not yet the right time. I was too young back then.

But now, I can say ...I've earned this. Been working hard for the past years and I deserve the ultimate gift for myself (actually, begged the husband to pitch in also!LOL).

So here it is ... my post-birthday, Christmas and "push" present gift. The Chanel GST. Made possible by very good couple, Abie and Howell . They lovingly and carefully hand-carried it all the way from Paris! Truly appreciate the effort (and pressure) of bringing home this baby. Notice how they meticulously brought the bag from Paris to Manila. Everything was kept intact. From the packaging, boxes, ribbons ..and even the gift presentation. It was handed to me almost as if I personally bought it straight from Paris store. I heart it so much that I even dared not to destroy the presentation without taking pictures (super thanks Abie and Howell!)

project : bag business

Before I help the husband look for cad drawing specialist for their upcoming mapping office project, I just would like to share my new pet project which kept me so so busy for the past days ... my bag shopping website! I am still learning the ropes of uploading pictures and creating my website via multiply, and so far ... so good. First few posts successful, and I am hoping I can do more and learn to customize my site (not that tech savvy, you know!) soon.
Anyway, take a peek at my online bag store : http://www.thebaghagshop.multiply.com , my shopping website dedicated to wannabe baghags like myself. All bags certified original, still fresh and some slightly used. Truly affordable and budget-friendly. Makes owning luxury bags really possible and dream, no more! Please do check my bag site and tell me what you think.
Wish me luck!

Balenciaga Bag

Will I be a Balenciaga bag convert too? Some of my close friends already became a bal convert overnight. They swore that the quality, suppleness and softness of lambskin leather truly adds beauty to the bag. Plus the palladium plated metal hardware gives distinct ooommpph which you'll never find with other luxury bags. The bag design simple yet classic and very iconic. Hmmm...which I truly like! You see, I am one boring shopper. I prefer to stay on the safe or classic side of everything. And I think this bal bag will suit my fashion style (and personality)very well. Though if ever I do get one of my bal bag (which I need to save for x months from now), I would settle for Balenciaga Giant Day Bag. Safe and practical choice for office use. Now the next question .. will I get it in black, white or red. What will be your vote? --- yes, as much as I want to get all...I promised to have one bal bag only in my lifetime! LOL.

more online loots

Thanks to my online friend Glo. Finally, I was able to get these lovely RL dress on sale. At 50% ($28) off, not bad to collect all colors, right? Which is why I can't resist getting the yellow, assigned color for our family upcoming MBAPs Christmas party, white and orange for her alternate use.
Anyway, How I wish they also have these dresses on sale for adults too. I so want to get red, yellow and green for myself. The fabric made of light, cotton material ideal for summer wear. Perfect for tropical weather like here in the Philippines.

Now off to my online shopping loots for the little girl ... need to help my friend check out horse supplies available on the web. He's thinking of adding new line up of horse supplies at his animal supplies business by end of the year.

Really happy that the team made it again for 2008. Despite the very stiff competition, challenges both internal and external, glad that the team was able to end the year with 107% above the revenue target. Truly kakaiba performance! The team indeed proved that nothing is impossible with teamwork and determination. Each member contributed to the successful performance of BSPS for 2008. Hence, aside from merits and rewards given to the team, key employee insurance also being reviewed as part of continuing success programs of the company.

online loots

Finally, reaping thy fruits of my labor ... my online loots from my online blog raket!
The balikbayan box arrived last night fresh from NY courtesy of our ever-dependable Tita Glo. All items ordered via amazon.com in preparation for the arrival of the new baby of the family. Everything all here ... avent sterilizer, avent starter pack, BPA-free bottles, nipples and Graco baby monitor.

And of course, something for myself from my "kumikitang kabuhayan" raket ... Coach Leather Bag ordered online from our US personal shopper, Glo. Received this new baby two weeks ago. Really happy!

Real beauty, huh?! Actually, I am thinking of selling it.(very bad!) This is one of those impulsive buy! LOL. Still unsure if I need another black bag especially with another black bag arriving by end of the month. The dream bag! Anyway, do you seriously think I need another black bag? Hmmmm ...

baby preps

At twenty-five weeks preggo, now I am at my full blast shopping mode for the baby!LOL. I've been very busy for the past two days sorting, cleaning and checking out baby miguel's things. Was pretty successful sorting Ate Samantha's baby clothes. Luckily, I was able to fill up two drawers baby stuff including sleeved-shirts, tie-side shirts, socks and even onesies. My only dilemma on her old onesies, most of these bought at old navy and gap online... in particualr girly colors: pink and purple! Now I am thinking if I'll still use the onesies on my little boy. Hahaha!

Aside from baby clothes, I was also busy checking Ate Samantha's toy closet. Most of her baby toys, still intact. Lucky, lucky me! Toys are quite expensive these days. These are V-tech story books, Leap Pad (Touch Pad and Leap Frog) complete with their educational cartridges. And some of her Baby Einstein and Barney DVD collection. Now I am thinking if I need to set up our old TV at baby miguel's room for her to enjoy these educational DVDs.If this happens, need to check out safe and affordable tv stands to baby-proof his room. Hmmm... that is one tough browsing and surfing job! Anyway, wish me luck that I can find something online...and not be distracted with unneccessary sale items! LOL :)

ipod upgrade

After getting my son Ico the Hesh SkullCandy headset for his ipods, he is now asking to upgrade his old ipod classic with 8GB of memory storage to the new version of ipod classic with 120GB storage. One-two-oh GB sotrage!! Really amazing, huh?! Imagine I just bought his ipod classic sometime 3Q 2008 at 8GB ... and now Apple launched new version of ipods with better storage memory and eye-candy colors. And the capacity... it's like carrying your entire media library practically everywhere! Really cool! Now I am thinking if I should give him the upgraded version for his 14th birthday on January. Anyway, with six months to go before his birthday, who knows the ipod price might go down or Apple might launch another version by then. Let's wait and see.
