i want one.

It's the latest craze in the techie world now. The Apple iPad. All the hype as it was initally launched by Apple. People are going crazy with this new toy. It has the functionality just like your iphone and laptops and more. Though it is not designed to replace the compter, instead it was designed to make tasks much easier.

As I told the husband, I am thinking of getting one for myself. As a birthday pressy. Since, I am always mobile and on the go, the iPad would be a perfect gadget for me. It will be easy for me to blog, twit, chat, surf the web and exchange emails efficiently. I am a non-techie person but I guess the basic functionality I need can be found on the iPad. No complicated tasks such as video editing and the works, thus the iPad may serve its purpose foran end-user like me ... simply to entertain me. This may be in the form of video, music, photos, game applications or by simply web browsing ... it was created to keep my life easier. Hence, a MUST for me.
Oh it's not a cheap toy by the way, selling price at $499. With this price, I expect more from the services. After sales is non-negotiable, as well as ipad warranty to cover any possible product defect. Now I am not sure about service reviews. The prodct may be excellent, but if it has poor service ... a different story for me. But for now, allow me to dream of getting one for myself. Tee-hee!!

cam upgrade

The husband is now convinced to get a new gadget for the family, an upgrade from our old point-and-shoot cam, --- a DSLR. After our short Singapore trip visit last week, he's decided to go PRO for our pictures. He was convinced that he can capture the best shots and provide good resolution with the SLR camera. He told me to search the best SLR deal available in the market, and happy to say I've found the right cam for us through best buy . Nikon D40 Digital SLR perfect for beginners like us. Easy to operate and convenient to use. It's the smallest SLR camera ever of Nikon, at a little over 16 ounces. With instant shutter response, 2.5 inch LCD monitor at 6.1 megapixel resolution. Simply perfect. And the price, awesome deal a little over $500 USD. Think the husband will approve this one, fits just right in our budget for cam upgrade.

birthday thanks!

Yes, it's my birthday today ... I am another year older, wiser, and more grateful. And I thank the Lord for giving me another year, another year to be productive at work, to share my life, spread love and laughter to others.

Thank you Lord for all the blessings ... you've given me so much, and I can't thank you enough. For my family, my loving husband, sweet and adorable kids, my fun work, thoughtful friends and colleagues ... thank you!

Thank you for all the birthday greetings sent via text, twitter, FB and email. Really appreciate it all. I guess I have to say BIG thanks to the internet, particularly the social networking sites like FB, you made remembering birthday's very easy, easy to connect and touch other people. Anyway, your simple birthday greetings, made my day really special.

Again, thank you so much!

clothes shopping

It's my birthday tomorrow! And I am thinking of celebrating my natal day with a big bang. And that would mean only one thing, a day filled with fun and excitement ... shopping! As a treat, I am thinking of getting some new accessories, new shoes and of course, nice clothes to add my wardrobe. A good pair of jeans, some working clothes for corporate functions are on my top priority list. And if budget still permits, perhaps get few urban clothes too for my everyday use. Really excited! Now I am just waiting for the husband to give me my budget moolah for my shopping. Hoping he will be overly-generous today. Tee-hee!

Another LV Delight-ful!

I am supposed to research about asbestos mesothelioma for my aunt, when I got distracted from the LV alert I received from my friend, Beng.
Introducing, the Louis Vuitton Delightful in Monogram Canvass released June 2010. My friend told me that the bag is already available in Guam, and I think it can now be found on the LV website. The price is quite a steal, almost same price as the Neverfull series. But the design, it's like a combination of LV's recently launched artsy in hobo shape with the size of Neverfull.
And since I already own a NF bag, I am thinking of getting the GM size as I love zippers! Sadly, only the GM size has the zippers infront, which gives the distinct style of Delighful. Oh well, still thinking. I want to see the GM size IRL first, it may be big for my size. Anyway, since I am off to SNG next weekend, I hope I can find the bag here for actual fitting (*wink, wink*). Keep you all posted.

first day of school

It's Samantha's first day of school today. She's on her last phase in pre-school as Kinder 2. Next year, my little bratinella will be in Grade 1. Oh my, time flies so fast! I can still remember her first school day, back when she was enrolled as "saling kitkit" in a small playschool near our place. She was 3 years old back then. Just simply enjoying singing and playing with her fellow classmates.
But now, just look at her ... a full-blown pre-school. Eager to learn and excited to mingle with new friends. Thankful she matured for the past two years in her big school. Thankful that she turned out to be a good and responsible student. I am really proud and happy of my little bratinella. Oh, no longer a brattinella so much anymore...with the arrival of baby brother, she improved and matured a lot. She became big sister in a funny and loving way too! Well, that is my little Samantha ... and we love her dearly! :)

diet pills search

I've been looking for effective diet pills for months now, and so far I've tested a few of them. Others provide promising results, while others ... just promises. With so many available diet pills in the market, it's hard to determine effective diet pills. Other diet pills comes with flashy packaging, while some fully endorsed by big time celebrities. Recently, I've stumbled weight-loss review site, and I've read apidexin as one of the leading weight loss pills in the market. Price wise, very affordable and it can burn fats effectively, while suppressing the appetite. Great benefits eh? Downside, no side effects. Could this be true? I sure hope so. Anyway, do check out the reviews about and be the judge of this weight-loss product.

june travel plans

Before I read more about fat burner reviews, allow me to share our family travel plans for my upcoming birthday and Father's Day this June.

For June 19-22, our family will be Singapore bound. Since we haven't really been out as a family for a summer vacation, we've decided to celebrate our last hurrah for summer with the kids before the school opens by 2nd week of June. Well ..that's the grand plan. However, since the airline promo happily coincides with my birthday week and father's day celebration, we've made some minor adjustments to maximize our trip. And of course, to save on costs.

Normally, we leave for Hongkong month of June to visit Hongkog Disneyland. But this year, since the Universal Studios opened early 2010, we've decided to bring the kids to Singapore. It will be their first time to visit the country, while the husband and I ... our nth visit already. I am sure they will love it here. Thus, aside from Universal Studios, our travel itinerary will include Night Safari, visit at the Science Museum, explore Jurong Park, photo opps at Merlion City, roam around Sentosa Park, and of course, enjoy the Great Singapore Sale shopping along Orchard Road. Weeee!

It's a fun and adventure-packed trip for our family for four days and three nights, and I can't wait to finalize our itinerary. Haven't booked our hotel yet, but I am definitely sure to get the hotel package with Universal Studios free ticket. Coolness, eh!

weight battle

After giving birth six months ago, I've been in constant battle with my weight. I thought it would be easy to go back to my pre-preggo weight, by simply going to the gym and following a strict diet but like other people, I've realized it is easier said than done. With a little baby to take care, with the constant demands from my work, and with a home to look after ... my diet plans took a back seat to give way to my other priorities in my life. I've tried several ways to lose weight, mostly instant weight-loss pills and so far, the results are slow and unappealing as I can't see myself improving. I've read several sites for top diet pill available in the market, and the results ... endless! Now, I'm not sure if I should continue taking diet pills or just go back to the gym to lose weight.
Anyway, what do you think? The picture below was taken two months ago from our summer get-away at Shang-rila Boracay. I've successfully lost a little over ten pounds after giving birth, and I am determined to double it by year-end. Any chance you can help me with instant weight-loss pill? :)

cramming mode

Yes, I admit. I badly need a good night cream to eliminate those dark circles under my eyes. Been sleeping quite late lately, especially these past few days I've been very busy with work. Sad, but can't help it. I've been very busy finishing some tasks to ensure worry and travel-free Singapore trip. Deadlines must be met, tasks to be submitted for approval. And revenue forecasts need to be finalized. All of these cramming and rush activities, in preparation for our upcoming travel. Yes, in the next fifteen days will be leaving for another trip. This time, with the kids. Quick vacation get-away before the school starts. Though I want to learn more , and read more on the web for quick-remedy solution or best eye cream solution, I am afraid that will have to wait. Because for the meantime, priorities need to be set. And the eye creams not part of my to do list for the week. Yes, I am that uber-busy. :(

on allergy relief products

I've been searching for an effective allergy cream for months now, from very expensive products available in the market to the most affordable one. So far, I can't find a cream that truly delivers what it promises. That is, quick relief. Luckily, last week, my cousin based in NY informed me about the allergy relief website she found that might answer all my sinusitis and breathing congestion problems brought by dust, pollen and smoke. True enough, I was able to find the right product for me. Aside from allergy-free pillows, towels and sheets, I was able to find other products that helps minimize airborne contaminants inside the home. Perefct site, don't you think so? Do check out.

I heart ...

... this orange bag.

*photo above lifted from Girlie Rodis' Avenue GR multiply site

Saw the bag from my favorite showbiz magazine, YES! and I couldn't help but drool over it. My fellow blogger and MBAP friend Kelly, confirmed this "IT" bag is indeed, HERMES LINDY. So pretty and fab!! And I can't help but to drool again. Love, love the stunning color of the bag. Yet, another addition to my never-ending wish list .. yes, just a wish since I can't afford to own an Hermes bag! (And even if I can afford it, will probably not buy one! hihihihi ... in my wildest dreams)
