stop haunting me!

I am being haunted by this black Prada shoulder bag eversince I saw this bag carried by a lovely lady few weeks ago at UCC Cafe Podium. I am not a big Prada fan. In fact Prada bags are least of my top bag brand choices but at that precise moment I saw the bag sashayed infront of me ... I was smitten! Now I can't top thinking about her. I tried googling it, and to my dismay I can't find this bag from the official website of Prada. Ugh! I hate this feeling. The more elusive for me to find, the more I am determined to get her. Now it haunts me even in my sleep.

Oh please, can somebody help me from this madness! Please be an angel and tell me where I can get her, or any idea what style or model this bag could be. Al l know is the bag code which I am not sure if this is the correct code :pra040w-BLO688-UXK-002

on cable installation

Last week, the husband asked me to get in touch with Cignal Digital TV asap. He's very upset with our present local cable provider not because of bad quality of service but due to one missing chanel -- THE NBA channel! Bummer. As the basketball season about to start next week, he's desperate to have a digital dish cable installed asap. Luckily, the people from Cignal TV responded to his request in a jiffy. Thus, by tomorrow morning the cable crew from Cignal TV will be here to install our new dish that will not only have a Basketball channel, but will also complement our existing cable programs by adding up Star Sports, Disney, Bio Channel, and 2nd Avenue. The husband is very much excited. And he's hoping aside from the program perks, he's looking a the possibility that they will throw in further discount and freebies such as the vga cable with audio. That will be ultra-cool, don't you think so?

I am in-LVOE ...

... all over again with Louis Vuitton bags. Hahaha! Yes, after being so focused with my B's and C's bag ... I totally forgot the LVs. Never thought I would like another bag from LV, until I saw a lady carrying the classic monogram print. Hmmm...new NOE style from LV? So lovely and I heart it! I can't stop staring at her bag since I love how they re-visited the classic bags particularly the Noe. And I just love Noe! In fact, Noe was my first love in LV.
And for Spring/Summer 2010, check out the Noe Bag in classic monogram print. Don't you just love the gold bling padlock on the lower side? I so want one! It gives character and ooomph from your usual Noe style. And now they even introduced Noe with handles. Hahaha, now you can either carry your bag handheld or sling it on your shoulder. And look how they change the shoulder strap from leather to brown -- less patina discoloration over time. Simply love it! Now I am thinking if I'll get one for myself. Perhaps with the husband's next trip in Hawaii? Hahaha!
Monogram Canvass version of Eden Noe priced at $2160.

Monogram Eden priced at $2880. Colors available: Khaki, Argent and Peche

crazy travel plans

I am serious. I want to go to Hongkong now. I want to catch the sale fever, eat lots of dimsum and enjoy HK Disneyland all over again. I so envy my friends who just went last week as they brag about their good sale finds. I want to shop 'til I drop, check out the fab discounts and splurge, splurge on clothes and shoes! How I wish I can leave by next week with the husband, but he's not convinced at all. He's laughing at me as I told him I want to go to Hongkong to buy my office attire, particularly trousers at my favorite store G2000. In fact, I just want to buy one pair. Crazy, eh? LOL Anyway. how I wish I can just go, and fly out in an instant. No travel budget to think of, just simply fly out in the morning and be back in the evening after my shopping. Hahaha. Yeah, really crazy! Oh how I wish I have my own travel reward card, perhaps travelling in an instant won't be my problem.

in search for health card

With the husband's recent transfer to a new work, from a Japanese telecoms firm to US-based company, the husband is still adjusting with a different set-up. You see, he's with the corporate world for more than ten years, and the work at home kind of set up is something new to him. Aside from working this time alone, with bigger scope of work (yes, the Regional Asia Market assigned to him), and with less supervision and more of decision-making in his hands. The new company set-up is simpler, direct and straight-forward. In fact, his benefits even simpler such as his Medicare plan wherein he's allowed to choose his preferred provider and plans depending on the budget provided to him by his company. Much simpler, eh? Thus, the husband asked me to start scouting for a new health provider as he feels his old health plans too limiting. More coverage in case of illness or accidents, and if possible to cover at least his three months salary should something happens to him. Oh well, time is running out ... hope I can find replacement soon.

dream luxury piece

My dream is to own just one expensive timepiece in my lifetime ... and that dream since I started working is the classic Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust in two-tone (white and yellow gold) color. Not neccessarily with diamond studs since I know I can't afford it. But would love to own even the simplest model. Among all the luxury timepiece available in the market such as Cartier, Bulgari, or IWC ... the Rolex is the mother of all classic timepiece. In fact, the Perpetual Datejust Model which began in 1945 is the best selling luxury watch be it for ladies or men. Well-loved and preferred for it's classic look, durability, elegance and as a brand statement.

I've been eyeing this watch for more than ten years now, but of course the price to own one, too much for me. There are more important priorities need to be done, and luxury items such as this can still wait ...

As I was sharing to my blogging friends couple of months back, despite I am dying to get one. I think not yet time for me. I still don't deserve to own one. Too young and too soon. Funny, but I have this certain feeling that I need to work hard before I am worthy to wear this dream luxury piece. Of course they disagreed with my thoughts. And with their encouragement, and with the husband's promise ... think I'll be singing a different tune this time. Hahaha! Let's see.....

crazy over metals

Another Balenciaga arrived last week! This time from 2009 F/W collection. Wish it was mine, but No. I just faciliated the order online for my colleague who happens to be crazy over Balenciaga lately. Her choice, City in Silver Giant Hardware. Lovely, lovely!

As for me, I am crazy too with metals ...particualrly, another Balenciaga City with Gold Hardware this time. As for the color, not yet sure. I still want to see the S/S 2011 collection which I think bound to be released next few months. Praying that I can still hold on and wait.
And speaking of metal hardware, I watched last night the making of Capital Gate. Recently dubbed as the leaning tower of Abu Dhabi. The infrastructure is so marvelous and really an engineering genious as it is a metal building covered with glass. Really amazing. So far, a creation withstanding all odds. Wish I can see this up close and personal since I've heard the Capital Gate will be a prestigious office address cum luxury hotel with a room over $12,000 per night. Whoaaa! Very expensive, indeed.

home improvements

It's been a while since I had any home improvements. I've been very busy lately not only with work but also raising my little tot that I already neglected some essentials in our home. In fact, the other day our househelp told me that the shower knob at our guests' bathroom not working properly. The overhead shower not working and the knobs too loose. Told the husband about this and he told me to get good quality shower knobs preferably the leading brand in the market like Moen. A little bit pricey compared to the regular shower or faucets, but it is durable and sturdy. Aside from the shower knobs, the husband told me to check out the Moen kitchen faucets too. He's thinking of changing our kitchen faucet to a better brand for durability and aesthetic purposes. And so far, I like these faucets from Moen (the Aberdeen and Montecillo).
