retail therapy

... is my immediate answer whenever I am not in my "usual" self. Yes, there were days that I feel awful and it seems nothing is right, and I am looking for something to cheer me up. And that something is quite unknown, until I find the "right" answer.

Hence, last Friday which coincides with payday and sick leave pay-out conversion bonus from the office ... my answer to my not-so good day came in a hot pink paper bag, from Tory Burch store in Greenbelt 5.

After carefully choosing all the available reva flats colors at the store (from Black, Gold, printed), I finally decided to get myself a silver reva ballet flats. Very stylish and oh-so pretty.

And the silver ballet flats complemented my black TB thong sandal bought online last January.

And for the break-in ... don't they just look oh-so pretty on my feet.

I simply love it! Stylish and so comfy too!Though I plan to get one more, probably in blck with gold trimmings but I think this new silver baby will be just enough. Well, the shoes kinda pricey for a retail therapy but nevertheless, it was well worth it. It gave me minutes of heaven. High price for a few minutes, indeed. And whenever I use the silver shoes ... I can almost hear my pretty feet thanking me for getting an ultra comfy fab shoes.

Ok, enough of my retail therapy post. Back to my travel research and itinerary preparation for our upcoming Tokyo trip. Need to find used travel trailers too just in case will need one for our long drive travel. Hopefully the budget fits. Aya-yay!

spa treat

While in Boracay last month, I treated mysef with a day of ultimate pampering. At my all-time fave dream spa, The Chi of Shangri-la Boracay. You see, I've always enjoyed my spa here, it's an ultimate pampering experience, a must try especially if you want to indulge and if you are ready to splurge. It only not gave me instant joint pain relief from the soothing massages and rejuvenates my skin from it's heavenly Boracay milk scrub, but it enhances my senses, provides a calming retreat from the hustle and bustle at work. Do check out my Chi Spa experience below.

universal studios singapore

I've heard so much raves about Universal Studios Singapore (USS) and I can't wait to go here with my family. My online friend Thea already went at the time of USS grand opening, and I so envy their visit on the opening day. I promised my little girl will go to SNG this June and our first stop would be USS. I want her to enjoy the boat ride at Madagascar zone and King Julien's carousel ride. Oh, I am sure she'll go crazy on these rides! You see, she loves carousel rides so much. And for the husband and kuya, the Sci-fi city will be their best bet. I am sure they'll enjoy the thrill of riding the dual roller coaster and the accelerator ride.

And before we leave by June, expect that I will be few pounds thinner by then. Nope, not because of the diet pills I found at http://www.xenadrinerfa-x.org/ but because of taking care my four month old tot. He's growing fast and moves almost everywhere now, and I am having a difficult time to match his pace. He's too energetic for me! Hahaha! So by the time we go to SNG by june, exepct a different me. Well, thinner ... I hope.

ready for summer

Is it effective? I think I've already lost few pounds after giving birth four months ago. Kudos to cla for weight loss. I am happy that I can now show some skin without fear. Hahaha! And since summer is here, my weight loss timing is just perfect. Who would have thought that I'll lose few pounds that fast ... and so far, think I am doing well. I believe discipline is the key. Avoiding too much fattening food, a little excercise and with just few more pounds to go ... I think I'll achieve my desire body weight. Well, hoping this will continue. Wish me luck.

busy at work

Uber busy. For the past week, I am very busy with work. Projects coming and so many deliverables need to accomplish for our upcoming company synergy by second quarter. Aside from projects and deadlines, the revenue commtiment to management keeps rolling and we are shy of few million pesos for the month of February. Really bad. You can imagine how stressful lately at work. And because of stress at work, I am having acne breakout. I need to get the best acne pills available in the market fast. Will be out next week with the husband for our post anniversary travel, and I don't want zits to cover my face when we travel. Well, that will not be good in pictures, eh? Any recommendations?

Happy 4th, Migo!

The little squirt turned four months old last week, yes ... time flies so fast. I can't stop time, but he's growing so big and fast right before my eyes. I am happy that at his age now he sleeps peacefully at night. Believe me, I am really one happy working mom. No more waking up at dawn, and no more late nights for me. No need even for eye cream to cover dark circles around my eyes. I can enjoy straight eight hour sleep and now look refresh the next day for work. Thanks to my little boy's sleeping patterns now normal and predictable. Thus, to my little Migo ... Happy 4th, my love! Praying for your continued good health as always.

on diet plans

Ok, I admit ... I am 15 lbs overweight. After four months of giving birth, I am still struggling to get my pre-preggy weight back. I thought shedding off few pounds would be easy since I breastfeed my baby, and with so many late nights taking care of an infant ... I thought I can lose all those unwanted fats fast. But boy, I was wrong! I am still looking for fad diets that work. I've tied after six meal, south beach diet, all fiber crash meal and all-soup diets, but unfortunately, nothing works for me. Well, I am bad with being consistent with my diet plans. Hence, I am a big failure in shedding off those fats. Think instead of concentrating on different diet schemes, perhaps I need to enhance my discipline and will-power first before I launch on successful diet plans. What do you think?
