Yes, I badly need to get thermogenic fat burners. Diet alone not enough to help me lose weight. I need to get myself an effective diet pill that would help trim me down fifteen pounds more in the next three months. Look at those flabby arms, eeewww!! Very big, eh? Anyway, my goal is to get back to my pre-preggo weight which is around 120 lbs or less. Hah, goodluck to me! How I wish I can get those miracle pills, and with just one pop I can be fit and fab the next day. Hahaha ...yes, the lazy bones in me depends so much on science and technology. Very bad.Saturday, July 10, 2010
on losing weight ... again

bold and beautiful.
I just got myself a new bag, a Balenciaga. Actually it's my second B bag --- a City in Silver Giant Hardware. And I surprise myself as I ventured into something bold, unconventional but stunningly beautiful this time. Not just by going beyond my usual style of shoulder bags, but getting a handheld motorcycle bag-style this time. And the color, to die for ... S/S 2009 Raisin, deep shade of blue and stunningly beautiful in real life.
With or without camera flash, you can see the boldness of the color raisin. So beautiful. Oh, I've tried modelling the bag pics too. And whether I use indoor or outdoor home lighting, the deep purple shade stands out. In fact, it's my accent piece in any solid or dull office wardrobe lately. You won't miss it. It's a statement of something fresh, bold and beautiful. And I simply love it!!

skin problem
I've been reading a lot about eczema lately, and I can't believe I am getting all these skin rashes on my face at the age of mid-thirties. Imagine, warts or zits never been my problem during my younger years ... and just when I gave birth recently to my third child, skin rashes started coming out especially on my face. It's irritating, believe me. And I hate having these rashes on my face especially I go out and meet a lot of people. I don't know how it started, or the reason behind it but for the past two months, I am having skin irritations or eczema on my face. Could it be just post pregnancy symptom brought by hormonal changes, or by too much use of astringents or facial wash? I can't really pinpoint the actual cause but so far, I am treating it with simple cream and medication to subside the swelling and itchiness, like Elica cream. Yes, it diminishes the itch sometimes but sometimes it persists especially during hot weather. Any suggestions how I can treat my skin problem fast?

SNG Trip : Day 4 - Orchard Road
Last day in SNG, so far the weather was very cooperative with us. It was sun-shiny day during our entire four-day stay. Despite the flood experienced at Orchard Road a week before our visit, it was perfect shopping day for me and the kids.
Since our flight back to Manila not until 7pm, we've decided to explore the city and do a little shopping. After checking out at Peninsual Hotel, we decided to have lunch at Takashimaya Food Court. Samantha and I went ahead with the boys and explored the new ION mall, Ngee Ann City (Takashimaya) along Orchard Road. Did a little window shopping, and just bought few items from Sephora, Uniqlo, Charles and Keith and Giordano shirts for Ico. Bought also the classic pasalubongs like Singapore ref magnets, key chains and shirts from Orchard Road too.

Our family trip to Singapore was perfect bonding time for us. It was actually the husband's birthday gift for me and I am glad that we decided to spend it here. We would love to come back, probably early next year as we hoped that USS will be 100% fully-operational by then. Next to Hongkong, SNG is my next fave city for vacation with kids. Ideal place to go especially if you have kids. 'Til my next travel post ...

SNG Trip : Day 3 - Universal Studios
Day 3: Universal Studios Singapore (USS) - The much awaited trip for the family. We decided to go here on a Monday, to avoid too many people and long lines at the park. Of course, we are very much excited. We woke up early and decided to go to USS after breakfast. Tip: buy USS tickets online as the entrance to park tickets already sold when we arrived at 1030am. Yes, surprisingly sold that day, on a Monday!

SNG Trip : Day 2 - Sentosa Park
After our tiring zoo trip the day before, we decided to have late buffet breakfast at the hotel. I also joined the little bratinella for a morning swim at the hotel's lap pool. Since I forgot to bring my alli weight loss diet pill on the trip, I've decided to shed all those buffet food I had by swimming and doing some lapses for thirty minutes.
Anyway, our itinerary for the day starts with our lunch at Vivo City, Food Republic. Had few pics at Vivo City.
Then from Vivo City, we rode the Sentosa Express as we go to Sentosa Resort. Our first stop at Sentosa, Mt. Imbiah. We entered the 4D shows: Pirates, Iceland Adventure and Cowboy Fun and for posterity sake, had our photos taken at the famous Merlion landmark (the miniatur version at Sentosa). Then by night time, off we go to Beach Station to watch Songs of the Sea - a musical spectacular shows on lights, water, fire and sound. A must watch at Sentosa. Entrance fee: $10 per person.
