I am torn between getting the Alma or Passy PM. Pricey compared to my previous bags but this is made of different material, EPI leather. I can strech my budget to Alma ... but I have to think 5x before getting passy PM. But I so love passy too! Worst, I'll settle to speedy 30 but that would be ultimate bore and conventional. Besides, I already have speedy style. So maiba naman. Hahaha! The LV lockit, same price as speedy but my least favorite among the choices.
Hmmmm... hard to decide especially if you have limited moolah. Of course, as much as I want to buy all...I can afford to buy only one. And it will be unwise (and impractical) to get all black epi bags! Hahaha! So I really need to be a wise buyer ... and note, this is my super early Christmas present na! No more turning back. What do you think?
Btw, I am not sure about Gucci or other brands ... any other suggestions for a nice, corporate and serious black bag?

If you welcome unsolicited comments, I would recommend either the Alma or the Lockit (don't rule this baby out just yet). You are right that the Speedy is ho-hum (really boring, especially in black) and the sizes for Epi are weird. The Epi 25 is similar to a regular 30 but the leather is stiff so you will scratch your hands getting into the bag. The Epi 30, on the otherhand, is larger than the regular Speedy 30 and again too boring especially in black.
The Passy, I would rule out. For one it is not an iconic LV bag and another, it really really looks like a Secosana or Leonardo bag. Fairly ordinary.
Now the Alma and the Lockit - these babies are really beautiful! I am biased because I have the Epi Alma in black, but this bag really does take your breath away. My SIL has the black Epi Lockit and I've seen people's heads turn when she carried the bag. Plus, these two styles really showcase the Epi leather the best.
Good luck with your bag hunting and I think you're on the right path now that you've chosen the Epi line.

I love the Alma in Black Epi. Isa sa mga choices ko yan when we went to Sgp. Yan talaga ang pinagpilian ko nun, but I decided to get a less expensive one na lang dahil nga bumili pa ako ng LV wallet! Hahaha.
Uy, tama si anonymous (hehehe), the passy is not iconic to LV, parang trying hard na hermes eh. Although, syempre, LV pa rin. But when I saw that, parang nalalakihan ako as a handheld bag.
Sarap nga problema ito, bag hunting! Hahaha! Goodluck!
As for other brands, Balenciaga is also ok or Bottega! Ay, wish ko makabili ng Bottega! Kaso hanggang bodega lang ako eh! Bwahahaha!
Hey Jacqui! I totally agree with anonymous, mm and jody. Go for either the Alma and the Lockit. They're iconic! love the EPI line too. Hay... wish ko makabili from that line.

ako, ill go with black alma kase may alma ako mc nga lang bwhahahaa. seriously, a friend has one and its really nice. i like the size too. feeling ko kase the lockit is kinda small eh. pahaba kase pero nothing beats it when you try the bags on. kanya kanya kase. may mga bags na bagay at hindi kaya wag ipilit hahaha. this is what i laerned in HK dahil iba nasa isip ko bilhin but ended up buying a diff bag after trying them on. hay, shopping, ang sarap!!!
btw girl, sa macau ba may chanel? and san dun? hows the price?

Actually, ALMA is my number one choice. Price wise really ok for EPI. But checked the LV website, mas cheaper pa lockit! Kaya I am so excited to see the bag. The cheaper, the better! Hahaha! :)

Nice talaga ALMA noh? I saw it na before sa LV store. I promised myself if magka-epi ako, I'll get black for office use and yun pinaka-mura lang...speedy 30 nga dati balak ko. But then, nauna na speedy damier kaya don't want to have the same style.
I like passy kasi spacious yun bag compared to alma. I haven't seen lockit personally, kaya ... I am excited to check this out too! Let's see... excited na ako HK!! :)

i like the Alma amongst all your choices. in fact, it's what i intend to buy, too. it's so classy! do let us know how the bag fitting (and feeling) goes :) i wanna know how the Lockit works din.
ay nahuli ako sa balita! LOL medyo biased ako sa alma kasi ang tagal ko nang gusto nito....pero pareho silang handheld ng lockit so i guess it'll go down to what "fits" you best when you try them on :) good luck and share your pics after!! :)

First choice ko talaga ALMA. I am planning to initially get speedy before kasi sya yun mura na epi style.
But now, since I know I'll never go wrong with ALMA ... worth paying additional thousand bucks noh? Hahaha! Naku, Christmas in September talaga! :)
jacq much smaller ung lockit compare to alma if ur tall bka mas bagay ung alma sayo. check out the epi in red color super nice kse striking pagka red nya.

Saw the epi line in red...really, really nice. If I have extra moolah, might get one siguro in red... but that would be years from now pa! Hehehe!
For the meantime, need to stick to the basics. Black for my office use :)
