I LVOE this too!

A good friend of mine will be going to Europe next week. She'll be away for three weeks to visit Paris, Prague and Germany. As I read her travel itinerary, I so so envy all the places she plans to visit. Most of it, my dream travel destination, especially Paris. Anyway, I am happy she decided to push with her Europe travel plans. Well, aside from their much-needed R&R, it'll be honeymoon and Baby No. 2 trip for the good couple. (woot-woot!) But of course, I am even more happy with their upcoming trip since she'll be getting my dream bag in Paris ... and at a very, very good price (shhh... almost 30% off!) LOL.
Though my dream bag is hard to find, I am hoping she can get my next choice. The LV Keepall 50 Monogram. I've been eyeing this bag for years now and somehow I always de-prioritize getting it. Think this is more practical choice compared to getting another handbag since the husband and I do a lot of travelling. Well, let's see...another wish list, and I LVOE this too!
Now off to my dream bag, need to find short term health insurance NC for my cousin based in North Carolina. She's in-between jobs lately and need to get health insurance as part of her requirement in her new job. Hope the Blue Cross Insurance company will be flexible to meet her needs.

Communicasia SNG

I just have to post this. This is my only proof that I went to SNG Communicasia booth last month. Hahaha! I've been very busy with meetings the entire event hence I forgot to pose for picture. LOL. Anyway, this is me (at the middle, with Bayan colleagues), still working with five months bump. I won't forget this day since I went shopping at Takashimaya, Orchard Road and met up with my fellow MBAP blogger Apols for dinner at Pepper Lunch, dessert and coffee at Starbucks. A day filled with frustrations (the dream bag!) , "juicy" news and updates from our MBAP founder and of course, more shopping kwento. How I wish I can go back to SNG soon ... I love shopping here. Enjoyed the GSS (Great Singapore Sale) and of course, GST refund!

Now off to answering blog tags, need to check Outer Banks rentals vacation houses for my aunt. She's thinking of bringing her family for a much-awaited R&R from all the city life stress. Need to check the web for a three bedroom vacation house, preferably with a pool and near the beach for her family. With a budget in mind, hope she can find one soon.

car news

Finally, received copy of my car insurance this morning. Eveything in order. All agreements, policy coverage (including drivers and passengers) and submitted insurance quotes were followed as instructed. That's the good news.
The bad news, the release of the car license plate not yet available. Unfortunately, Honda cannot commit with the date of release for car plates. Think they are having problems with the local Land Transportation Office with the supply of car plates. Mind you, I did'nt even ask for special plate number but just simple ending plate number -5 for Wednesday coding ... and they can't even provide it until now! It's almost one month waiting. Good thing I was never summoned or checked by MMDA for "no plate, no travel" policy. Otherwise, I'll be forced to swap car with the husband. Which I don't like. I am not comfortable bringing the big car to work everyday. Big car requires big space and bigger responsibility. Not my turf! Anyway, really hoping Honda will do something about it ... soon.

I LVOE it!

of course who wouldn't ... got it at a good price with friendly payment scheme too. Quite a steal, actually! LOL.

Happy to add another baby to my LV Epi collection. The EPI Noe in Black. Simply classic and stylish. Very ideal for office use and as alternate bag for my Alma bag. Just love how the Noe's spacious size and the Epi's textured leather complement each other. Making the bag classic and really elegant. I've been searching for the black epi noe for months now, and finally ... was able to buy one. Thanks to Jody who mediated/reserved the bag for me.
Really nice, wouldn't you agree? Now I can't wait for the arrival of the RED Epi Noe to complete my collection next month. I was told by my Japanese partner/supplier the box ready for shipping anytime this week, so I guess I just have to be patient this time. Hehehe! :)

and the good news ...

Just came from Medical City to have my routinary ultrasound at five months (21 weeks). The results of the ultrasound were good ... really good. Normal fetal growth, sac size ok, heartbeat regular, spine, kidney and other internal organs can now be seen. So far, everything ok . Though the placenta kinda low, but nothing to be alarmed. It's about to move anyway in the next few weeks. Sadly, at 21 months I am still underweight. Very bad. I need to double my food intake. I just gained 2lbs from my last OB visit. Don't know why, the husband can even attest that I do eat a lot. Rice intake more than my usual portion. Darn ... I think I really need to pig out.
And another good news ... we are blessed with a BABY BOY this time. Prayers answered ... and the Chinese calendar really works! LOL. Anyway, really happy. Ate Samantha also pleased with the news. She wanted baby brother eversince. Not sure why, but probably she doesn't want to share her toys and room. Hehehe! Unknown to her, she will be forever the bratinella princess of the family.

toys for the big boys

To complement our recent HDTV and home entertainment purchase, the husband is thinking of getting another toy gadget for our living room. He's currently busy checking out iPOD Sound Dock system on the net. You see, he's dropping hints lately how we wanted to get something good quality and portable speakers for our iPOD. And I think he just found his perfect toy -- BOSE SoundDock Portable Digital Music System. It runs on rechargeable lithium-ion battery or easily plugs into wall for use anywhere. Very convenient to use. And of course, price wise ... affordable especially if we will buy this using our credit card on zero-interest payment scheme. Even Kuya Ico favored this brand over Altec-Lansing speakers. Hmmm... think I can smell another toy for the big boys here at home.

at five months ...

Picture above taken only yesterday at my post-birthday treat in the office

... kinda big, huh?!
Physically, I think I am big for five months. Well, to start with, I am already big and overweight before I got pregnant. Hehehe! But when I had my check up last week, surprisingly my OB told me I am underweight. That was based on my growth and monthly weight development. I am supposed to gain weight by 1lb per week. And since my last check up was five weeks ago (before all my travel spree), my OB was surprised that I only gained 2lbs. Very bad. Thus, the doctor gave me instructions to double all my food intake. And added couple of multi-vitamins and UTI anti-biotics to my daily dosage. Now, I am drinking 9 capsules per day. Gawd! Too much meds, and I hate it. Plus the my nightly ritual of Enfamama. Eeewwww!
On another note, gaining weight is another issue I need to face. Losing weight five years ago already proved to be very difficult for me. What more adding excess pounds again this year. I don't think any gym classes will help me lose weight immediately. Aside from enroling in the gym after giving birth, think I need to get fitness equipment to help me lose weight at home. Haaayyy...pregnancy weight blues!
