Just came from Medical City to have my routinary ultrasound at five months (21 weeks). The results of the ultrasound were good ... really good. Normal fetal growth, sac size ok, heartbeat regular, spine, kidney and other internal organs can now be seen. So far, everything ok . Though the placenta kinda low, but nothing to be alarmed. It's about to move anyway in the next few weeks. Sadly, at 21 months I am still underweight. Very bad. I need to double my food intake. I just gained 2lbs from my last OB visit. Don't know why, the husband can even attest that I do eat a lot. Rice intake more than my usual portion. Darn ... I think I really need to pig out. And another good news ... we are blessed with a BABY BOY this time. Prayers answered ... and the Chinese calendar really works! LOL. Anyway, really happy. Ate Samantha also pleased with the news. She wanted baby brother eversince. Not sure why, but probably she doesn't want to share her toys and room. Hehehe! Unknown to her, she will be forever the bratinella princess of the family.

Actually yun ang important, basta healthy. Plus factor na lang yun preference namin boy over girl, hahaha! kaya, naka-ready na din kami girl. May name na nga if girl eh (sophia gabrielle).
Unexpected pregnancy ba yun sa iyo? Sa amin kasi planned kaya na-consult ko pa Chinese calendar. Anyway, If naging girl ngayon, may next time ka pa naman ... bata ka pa noh compared sa akin?! Most likely last na namin eh :)

Yup Gracie, super happy that I need to ask the doctors (3 sila nandun that time eh) na ulitin, at i-revalidate gender ng baby. Hahaha!
Sad nga Mike was not me during the US session, biglaan kasi punta ko med city. Kaya as soon as the doctors confirmed, call ko agad sya sa celfone. Hehehe! :)

Yong Chinese calendar, check naman jacqui if you adjust for your chinese age (plus 1 to english age) if ok pa rin siya. That's how you use it I think you have to base on Chinese age. For those who want a boy or girl, have you tried Shettles method? if you want boy, make sure daw (siyempre this presupposes you know when you're ovulating so buy an ovulation kit at least) you do it often (more chances for boy kasi "male" sperm dies quickly but faster travel) and a day before or after or exactly on your ovulation day. if you want girl daw, do it at least 3 days before or after your ovulation. That way mejo wala na yong "male" sperm. Also eat more veggies for girl, more meat for boys (ang lalake kakain). take coffee/coke/caffeine to make things conducive to have a boy and acidic/vinegar if gusto ng girl. saka i think if the woman Os, greater chances of boy kesa if the woman doesn't (the fluids help towards bringing to the destination).

About UK shopping. I don't have an LV bag (di ko kasi afford hehe) but as far as i know me tax na kasama pagbili yun. saka sa airport as far as i now. walang refund yun.
Anyway, nasa Australia na kami since May pa. and no plan to go back to cold UK.

hmmm... not sure about adding 1 year from my current age at the time of birth. My case, I just did simple calculations ...used my age at the time of my birth, kaya sakto sya. Example, at 21 = B for Jan ; at 31 = G for Nov. So far, on my 3rd baby now, tama pa din. Hehehe!
