It's holy week at our side of the world today. For some, it means a time to relax and enjoy a long vacation with the family, while for most of us here ... time to repent and remember the passion of Christ. For our family, our religious observance starts with Maundy Thursday, doing our uusual visita iglesia to commemorate the last days of the Lord. We would visit seven churches to pray the Stations of the Cross. On Good Friday, we traditionally participate with the church procession with our family saint, St. John the Baptist. Complete with flowers and candles adronment we participate and walk the streets until we reach the church. Aside from no meat and noise week, the happiest part of the holy week is the Easter Sunday. We go to church early in the morning to celebrate Christ's life, and we bring the kids at the nearest mall to participate on Easter egg hunt. Very busy holy week, eh? Now I am not sure if I can find time to check whole life insurance for the husband. He's been asking me for weeks now to review his current term life policy, and he's thinking of upgrading it to include retirement plans. Well, perhaps I can do all his requests after the holy week observance. Definitely nobody will be willing to entertain my queries at this time of the year.
