As summer activity for the little bratinella, I enrolled her in a ballet school. She officially started today at Effie Nanas ballet studio at the 5th level, Shangrila Mall and so far, so good. Oh let me rephrase that ... so far, she's coping. I don't know if you'll call it as first day jitters, but she refuses to stay put! She was so excited an hour before the class, wearing her all pink ballet outfit. Running around the area. But, as soon as she went inside the studio, she transformed into a shy, inattentive and non-responsive student. Just when all the kids started enjoying the routine, she's making up several excuses to go out. Haaayyy... really don't know what gotten into her. But I am hoping (and praying) next session it'll be a better day for the little bratinella. Otherwise, I might consider engaging her on a different summer activity or probably get her nutritional health supplements to boost her energy. Anyway, posting below some of her ballet pictures in her best mood.

sis musta naman instructor sa effie nanas? iniisip ko kse ilipat si bela ng school, kse naiirita talaga ako sa kasungitan at pagiging dedma ng mga teachers sa halili. masusungit din ba sa effie nanas tsaka ano sked nila, 1x a week lang ba pag summer?

just saw you comment, try effie nanas din. nice naman teacher nila, flexible din sila sa sked. You may opt to bring bela once or 2x a week. You just pay for the session you will attend. Kaya ok. :)
Wow, ballet pala si Sam this summer. Ayaw ni Dicky ng ballet eh. Instead, we are enrolling her to hip-hop class in Miriam by May. Alam mo na man ang daddy, hip-hop kasi talaga yun! Hehehe.
i plan to enroll mika in a ballet and maybe jazz class at Steps, sana ok dn dun not like ung teachers sa halili based on abie's experience
so cute! grabe, buhay pa pala ang school ni effie nanas! i took ballet lessons from her from the time I was 3 years old until I was a teenager in high school! kareerin daw ba hahaha! :) At that time nasa SM Cubao and North Edsa pa ang school :) Go, I agree, ballet at an early age instills poise and grace na feeling ko naman eh hanggang ngayon dala ko pa LOL! :P

talaga, ganun na katagal yun effie nanas ballet school? hahaha! yan din sabi ko ke hubby, enrol si sam while young para ma-develop ang kanyang grace, posture! actually, frustrations ko yan, dream ko mag-ballet eh. hahaha!:)

I don't know if meron sa Makati. Yun fee nya P550 per session. Nice kasi you only pay for the session you will attend kaya di ka ma-sayangan if may na miss ka class. Yun ballet outfit/uniform around P1800 including shoes. Ok naman :)
