LVOE the Husband.

True to his word. He went home with all the LV bilin- bags. Nothing missed. From the huge LV boxes, paper bags, receipts, parchment papers and cloth bags ... he brought everything. Neatly packed inside his luggage. I wasn't expecting that he'll bring all the boxes, but he knew the importance of these packaging. You see the husband truly understands the value (and re-sale value) of my LV bags. Yes, I am one lucky gal to have a husband who somehow understands my addiction and obsession to luxury bags. Oh let me re-phrase that... a husband who recognizes and accepts the phrase "whatever makes me happy! "

Anyway after being away for five days, he arrived early this morning from Hawaii. When I fetched him from the airport I was surprised to see him holding one huge plastic bag. Yes, aside from his big luggage and a laptop bag, he's holding a big white plastic bag on his left hand. The husband told me that his check-in luggage weight exceeded by 23 lbs. He was forced to re-pack his things at the airport twice so as not to pay for the excess weight. Hence the white plastic bag ended up as a hand-carry which contains all 20 pieces of white Hanes shirt and 8 macadamia chocolate boxes as pasalubong for families and colleagues. He jokingly told me that he had a hard time packing his things because of the LV boxes. The boxes filled his entire luggage space! You see, the LV Neverfull boxes not your usual LV collapsible-type of box. It's so huge! Thus, when you open his travel bag, the LV boxes will greet you instead of clothes. Hahaha! And to ensure that the form of the box isn't destroyed, he filled each box with his clean clothes. Ka-kaaliw! Truly impressed with the husband's packing skills. Don't you just LVOE him?
So after packing three LV bags (yes, he was not questioned by customs for not declaring these luxury goods), the bags arrived safely in Manila.

LV paper bags in different sizes

the perfectly-shaped and unharmed boxes of LV bags

and finally ... my Louis Vuitton Neverfull Damier MM

You will be surprised that the husband brought home three (3) Louis Vuitton bags. Nope, these bags are not all mine. How I wish! lol. He carefully and lovingly carried these bags for my friends too. Bait noh? Never heard any qualms from him. He perfectly understands women's desire for LV bags.

side kwento: Upon hubby's arrival in Hawaii and right after checking-in at his hotel, he immediately went to LV Hilton to purchase these bags. This was his first stop before eating lunch. Poor baby! Baka daw maubusan daw ako LV stocks eh! Then after paying, he asked the store clerk to keep the bags for three more days for safe-keeping. Aawwww...very smart hubby. One of the thousand reasons why I LVOE him so much. :)

Now I am giddy happy...not just because of my new bag. But, hubby arrived safely and we are together again.

hi joy,

Ay naku, wag ka magsisi ... madami ka pa time to buy LV bag. I read in your blog you are looking for house na di ba? Ok lang yun house muna before everything else! hehehe! You're on the right track. Di mawawala yan LV bags :)

Btw, I found last night Hawaii cheapest place to buy the LV compared to any US state. Kasi yun NF Damier bag costs $700 sa LV website. Excludes tax and delivery pa di ba? Around $800+ total. So mahal din.

Then a friend bought same bag at Guam, $700 price. Eh wala naman tax Guam so NET $700 she paid sa LV store Guam.

Then at Hawaii, the husband bought it at $645 + plus 4.7% tax, total $675.39 ... mas mura di ba compared to Guam na wala tax? :) They don't follow the website price pala. Hehehe!

Not sure lang sa European countries. Di pa kasi ako nakapag-pabili dun eh. Naintriga din ako if mas cheaper nga at Dubai or France etc :)

hi jody,

Hahaha!

No worries, ok lang kay Mike yun. Naisip nga nya i-negosyo na daw namin next time. Mabawi daw bawat bag na binibili ko. Hahaha!

Hi Nikki,

The other two LVs for my friends, speedy 30 mini lin $735 and NF Damier din like mine. Si MIL, last minute nag back-out pabili ng bag. :)

Peach,

ok na business noh? Naisip ko nga i-gives din if ever like 2-months term lang. Peros syempre may mark-up. Hahaha!

Hi Gracie,

Really, mas mura france or monaco? ka-intriga naman. Sayang, wala ako friend taga dito para mapabilhan. hihihi! And I don't think pupunta si hubby dun next 5 years.

Btw, how about chanel? any idea san mas mura din? wala lang, nagtatanong lang...

Anonymous said...

Chanel is cheapest in France (like LV) but if you can't get it in France, try the US. Prices for Chanel are slightly more expensive in HK, Macau and Singapore.

Kaka-ayos nya na mag-fit yun boxes ng LV sa luggage nya, he found out yesterday he left his fave sperry shoes sa hotel! kawawa naman :(

He called the hotel in Hawaii yesterday and they confirmed it with them for safe-keeping.
